My morning started off bright and early! After not getting to bed until almost 2 a.m. due to nerves, my cold, and the inability to put my new computer down, when my alarm went off at 6:53 a.m. I was less than thrilled. Especially because despite the Vitamin C, Zinc, tea, chicken broth, and veggies I have been downing I'm not feeling much better. My breathing is getting laborious again, which worries me. But not enough to see a doc. I hate the doctor.
I wanted to make sure I got something in my stomach before leaving this morning so I wasn't at my meeting with a grumbly tumbly.
I had an oldie but a goodie, a fried egg sandwich: and over-easy egg, ham, and cheddar on a sandwich thin. I usually fry them over hard, breaking the yolk, but leaving it over easy made it much more satisfying. I love a drippy yolk. But it makes it more difficult to eat it with your hands.
Enjoyed with a cup of green tea, and a splash of honey. I loved my mug this morning! This is how I have felt all week, behind the curve, feeling like I was forgetting something, like I had missed the boat. Hahaha hohoho!
I really liked my outfit today for my meeting. But I decided to cover it up with my coat to show you because I liked it even better with my coat on. Even though my coat is missing a button, I love a good wool pea coat. And I loved my scarf this morning. I have a slight obsession with scarves, and I pulled this one out of the abyss of my closet, and I really liked it with my brown coat.
Pardon the orange face, apparently I hit the tanning bed this morning... or the yellow lightbulb in the entry way decided to add it's own addition to my complexion.
You know what else I learned today is that when you don't cook, you don't have recipes to blog about. Weird huh. I haven't made a meal in almost a week. We've been living off of what I affectionately call Boomer-food for a week. I need to get over this cold and stat. I miss real food.
