Happy Love Day!

It's Valentine's Day! I know most think that it is a Hallmark holiday, and commercial, and sappy, and yucky, and stupid. But I love Love Day. It is my favorite holiday, and I enjoy it every. single. year. I love the idea that you have a day to tell everyone you love, that you love them! Some will argue that you should tell them every day, but the truth of the matter is we don't always spread the love like we should! I like having a reminder, a day to wear pink, and red, and cut out stupid hearts to put every where, a day to stop and think about how incredibly lucky I am to have such wonderful, generous, supportive people in my life.

This year, we are breaking tradition and Boomer is making me a romantic dinner, from scratch. Boomer has never made me a scratch meal. Ever. So, I am excited!

But first breakfast:

A Valentine's Day Green Monster for 2:
Serves 2

~1 Cup frozen berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
2 Handfuls Spinach
1-6oz container greek yogurt
2 Tbls Almond Butter
1 Dark Chocolate Slimfast 3-2-1 Shake (or chocolate milk, or cocoa powder and milk of your choice)

-Throw all ingredients in your (janky) blender, and blend until smooth.

This was yummy! I love a chocolatey green monster!

Now, I am waiting for Boomer's cousin to drop off her daughter (I'm babysitting today) and Peyton and I are heading to my nieces talent show, where she will be performing a Taylor Swift song. A girl after my own heart!

I'll see ya'll on the flip side!
